Most Painted Place, Bonchurch and the Isle of Wight School of Artists 1830-1920
Updated: Jan 7
I am delighted to have permission from Professor Robin McInnes to add the booklet and report that he wrote and researched to enable raising awareness of the astonishing news that the Undercliff was the most painted part of the British coastline between the 1770's and 1920.
Please download the copies below to read them in their original illustrated formats.
I have also added information on Robin's latest beautifully illustrated limited edition book that that is quickly selling out. The book includes fascinating material about Scotland and the Isle of Wight.
