The Bonchurch Open Gardens was a huge success this year and our heartfelt thanks go out to all the people involved in making it a wonderful occasion.
Our thanks go to firstly all the visitors many of whom came out to support us for the first time since lockdown. It was a joy to see so many happy smiling faces walking through the village sharing stories and gardening tips.
Many thanks to all of the wonderful gardens that volunteered to share their gardens to help raise funds for the village. The gardens all looked fabulous!
A huge thank you to Brenda for allowing us to use her home over the many years for serving the delicious cream teas. We appreciate your contribution over the years and are very sorry that this was for the last time.
A huge thank you to Sandra for the mammoth delicious scone bake and to all the helpers who created and served the strawberry cream teas.
A special thank you to the island newspapers and online events that enabled us to publicise and share our beautiful village event.
Many thanks also goes to the photographers that visited the gardens and shared their superb images.
We look forward to seeing you next year with a few new gardens to enjoy.
